Mike Rodriguez brings more than two decades of industry, technology and private equity investment experience to his role as a Principal at Medina Capital. A leader in business management, corporate finance and strategic analysis, Mike is responsible for evaluating Medina Capital’s prospective investment opportunities by identifying growth potential, managing financial analysis, and conducting competitive analysis. Mike offers Medina Capital portfolio companies support and direction through strategic and financial analysis, long-range planning and evaluation of enterprise software business models for economic viability. Mike has a successful track record as a financial executive with broad industry experience in technology, media and marketing communications within the US and Latin American markets, bringing a global perspective to the business.
Prior to joining Medina Capital, Mike served as VP of Financial Planning at Terremark Verizon where he was responsible for aligning the company’s $1.5 billion operation plan. Prior to joining Terremark, Mike held various positions at Live Nation as Senior Director of Financial Planning, Young and Rubicam as Director of Finance and MTV Networks as Senior Director of Financial Planning. Mike started his professional career at MTV Networks Latin America as part of the Financial Planning team leading the launch of MTV, Nickelodeon, VH1 and MTVLA.com in Latin America.
Mike received a Master’s in Business Administration from Northwestern University, Kellogg School of Management and a Master’s in Accountancy at Florida International University. Mike also received a Bachelor’s in Accounting from Florida State University.
